Optional records and health imports

This additional notice applies to the optional records tools in DoseTide 1.0.6 and later, where available. It supplements the Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. The earlier notice that health-app integration was unavailable describes earlier releases.

You may enter purchase costs and laboratory results, select progress photos, or import your own CSV records. These can reveal health information. Lab results, photos and purchase costs are private to your account and are not included in partner sharing. Imported measurements follow your existing measurement-sharing choices.

Apple Health or Android Health Connect access is optional. DoseTide requests read access to weight only, while you use the import screen. It does not write to either service or read in the background. Permission denial does not prevent manual tracking or use of other paid features.

The weight preview stays on your device until you explicitly confirm an upload. Confirming saves weight, time, source application and source-record identifier to your DoseTide account in Supabase. Source identifiers help prevent duplicate imports. Saved records are snapshots: later changes in your health app do not automatically update or remove your DoseTide copies.

Selected photos are resized and camera and location metadata is removed before upload to private Supabase storage. A photo can still reveal information visible in its pixels or in a caption you enter. DoseTide does not request unrestricted access to your photo library. Temporary preview and export files are cleaned up after use and on subsequent app lifecycle cleanup attempts.

These records support your requested tracking, history and export features. They are not used for advertising, marketing profiles or treatment recommendations, and are not sold. Health-record contents are excluded from diagnostic events. Supabase processes the saved records on our behalf; store and subscription providers receive subscription information, not these health records.

You can revoke health permissions through the health-import screen or your device settings, delete imported weight copies without deleting the originals, and view or export saved records after Pro ends. Existing lab and photo deletion controls remain available. Purchase corrections preserve an audit history; account deletion follows the waiting period and retention terms in the Privacy Policy. Canceling a subscription does not delete records, and deleting an account does not cancel store billing.
